What Guides You?

In the therapy approach I primarily use, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I spend a great deal of time helping people identify their values. It is our values that guide us when we are confronted with difficult and painful choices. It is our values that reveal to us who we really want to be when we feel uncertain in ourselves. It is our values that give us meaning and purpose, even during the most mundane moments in life.

They are our compass. And by the time you are finished working with me–whether we are working together for psychological services or for organizational improvement–you will know your values.
